Our
25,000 acre privately owned ranch is located at the foot hills of the famous Sierra del
Nido, in the state of Chihuahua.
(N 29° 21’W 107° 04’).
Home of the only Grizzly bears in Mexico, and the highest quality Coues
White-Tailed Deer, due to the rich mineral contents of its soil and basalt
rock, altitude (6,500-7,000
FT) and cold climate, junipers and oaks. All of these
items combine to create an outstanding habitat for these species.
Our
hunts are performed on foot (glassing is used for deer) and we have horses
available for those who prefer it. Our terrain is flat grasslands, rolling
hills and moderate canyons, with abundant grass and no thorny bushes.
We
have implemented since several years ago, a rotational system with our cattle,
that allow each paddock to rest and recuperate, having more and better grasses
every year, boosting all kinds of wild life.
The
ranch is owned and operated by the family since 1945. We constantly question
our methods, whether it is cattle management, agriculture, or attention to our
hunters, to do everything the best way possible. We see in nature and in human
beings the presence of God and as such, we treat everything with love and
respect. All members of the family speak English.
