Coues Deer

Chihuahua, Mexico, land of great trophy Coues-White Tailed Deer. The Coues it’s specie by itself because it doesn’t mix with any other of the White-Tailed subspecies of the American Continent. Beautiful, graceful and smart, Coues deer makes one of the most challenging and rewarding hunts in the world.

Our hunts are done in a true fair-chase style. 80% of the deer hunted in our ranch have been over 100 points and we have a 90% rate of success.

This is a 1x1 guided hunting, 4 days and 5 nights of lodging are included in the package. In case a deer is harvested early in the program, we can provide you with quail, dove, duck, jabalina or coyote hunt, as well as guns and ammo. Everything at our discretion and prearranged price.

The arrival is on Mondays before 4:30 pm and departure Saturday, to be at the airport by 10:30 am.

Mearns Quail

Montezuma, Harlequin or Painted are different names for this bird. Considered one of the most beautiful gallinaceous of Mexico. A delight for the gourmets who cherish a highly refined dish.

Mounts of these birds in their natural environment enhances any one’s home or office.

Because of the way we manage or pastures, the coveys have multiplied fourfold in 10 years. This is a sport of elegance and refinement. We called it “A Gentleman’s Hunt”.

We use English Setter dogs to point the coveys which are numerous. Once flushed, they fly in all directions at great speed. This is quite a challenge for expert shooters. You’re welcome to bring your own dogs, the only requirement is health certificates.

There will be a guide per maximum 4 hunters. We recommend 20 or 28 GA shotguns.

Our package is of 3 days hunt and 4 nights lodging. Includes 2 sessions per day, meals and transportation. 10 birds can be hunted per 10, 30 in possession.

Coyote

We have a running Angus Cattle operation which attracts lots of predators. Some of them are coyotes, which in the winter months have beautiful reddish colored fluffy pelts, very nice for rugs or other uses.

Our package is for 3 days hunt and 4 nights.
